- Can UserWants replace a UserJot board?
- Only if you do not need the board. Requests arrive in a private inbox with five statuses and the requester gets an email when one moves, but there is no public page, no voting and no roadmap for users to look at. That is a deliberate removal, not a gap.
- Is UserWants cheaper than UserJot?
- Not obviously — both are flat, and UserJot has a free tier. If price is the deciding factor, UserJot wins at the low end. The reason to pay here is the diagnostics attached to bug reports, which UserJot does not collect.
- What happens to feature requests in UserWants?
- They go into the same inbox as bugs, tagged as ideas, and move through Pending, Planned, In progress, Shipped and Rejected. Whoever asked gets an email when the status changes, provided they left one.
